Blank Squirrel is our limited-release Matcha Cream Pale Ale, bringing together two worlds that don’t usually share the same glass: craft beer and matcha.

Made with premium matcha green tea, Blank Squirrel is smooth, refreshing and easy drinking, with soft malt sweetness balanced by delicate earthy notes from the matcha. It’s light-bodied with a subtle creaminess and a crisp, clean finish that keeps you coming back for another sip.

Matcha is traditionally made from finely ground Japanese green tea leaves, giving it that unmistakable bright green colour and earthy, slightly bitter flavour. We wanted to see what would happen if we took those flavours out of the café and into the brewery.

The result is a pale ale that feels familiar, but with something a little unexpected going on. Think soft, creamy malt character, refreshing beer bitterness and that distinctive matcha finish.
