The Nutcracker is a hazelnut stout released as a seasonal treat from the brew team here at Mad Squirrel. It pours dark and inviting, with an ABV around 4.5% and a gentle 25 IBU bitterness that keeps it smooth and drinkable rather than heavy.

On the palate this stout showcases roasty malt character and rich chocolate notes complemented by natural hazelnut overtones, giving it a nutty warmth reminiscent of toasted chestnuts by the fire. There’s a subtle coffee-like depth and soft sweetness that balances the darker flavours, making it plush but not cloying.
