WHAT'S BEEN GOING ON AT MAD SQUIRREL

 

New Year, New Beers, New team members & New ideas! Lots going on here in the Brewery with an exciting year ahead! We entered the New Year with a new Limited Release Beer... 'BLACKOUT'. Blackout is a unique style, Black IPA. Subtle roasted undertones followed by a sweet fruit and citrus sensation!

With such a range of unique beers being released and pushing boundaries to bring maximum flavour to each of our releases using numerous hops and flavour profiles, we can appreciate not all beer jargon makes sense to the consumer! This is why we wanted to bring a series, explaining the notes of each beer, presented by our senior brewer Josh, released every Tuesday! Tune in for some serious flavour profiles, and a lot less serious, comedic presenting!

 BURNS NIGHT!

To celebrate Burns Night, we brewed a traditional Scotch Ale, TARTAN! The cask ale flew out the door and was a big hit in Taprooms and pubs! Head over to our socials to check out the Tasting Notes!

 

Our last release of January is a delicious, fruity, 3.7% Post Run. Celebrate crossing the finishing line this January! This is the 5th Post Run we've brewed in the Post Run series, and is brewed with a single hop, cryo pop, which is the best blend of hops to bring maximum flavour to this light abv pale ale.
